Joel has been with the Easton Community Center for 15 years, since May of 2003. Previously he was the Youth and Sports Director as well as Program Director at the YMCA for 10 years.
Youth and Teen Director, Community Leadership Camp, After-school Program, Teen Committee, and Travel Basketball Leagues
Billy has been with the Easton Community Center for over 6 years. He has a business degree from Roger Williams University and was a point guard and team captain for the college’s basketball team. He was a 1,000 point scorer during his time at school and has continued to maintain his passion for the sport since. He teaches basketball instructional classes in addition to planning and running the teen center’s activities, ranging from day trips to dances, as well as overseeing the Teen Leadership Committee. He has first aid and CPR certifications as well as archery instructional certification. In his off-time he continues to play basketball in multiple adult leagues and is an avid Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Dodgers fan.
Cyndi has worked at the Easton Community Center for 15 years. She was born and raised in New Jersey but has been a resident of Easton for over 31 years. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and has been extremely active in her community. During her time in Easton Cyndi has gained experience as a former PTA president as well as a former board member for Habitat for Humanity and as a member of the founding board for the Easton Community Center itself. When she is not working, Cyndi is also very involved in work with the Mercy Learning Center, she is a proud mother of two, a proud stepmother of one, and a very proud grandmother of one.
Zumba, Cardio Kickboxing, and Body Sculpting Instructor; Personal Trainer
Aida is a personal trainer and group exercise instructor with over 25 years of experience and has brought her high energy low impact techniques to the people of Easton for the last 10 years. She is fully ACE certified in group exercise instruction as well as personal training. Her expertise in Zumba, kickboxing, spinning and body sculpting has motivated thousands of people by bringing out their best and helping them change their lives.
Front Desk Receptionist
Karen has been with the Easton Community Center for over 10 years. Prior to that she has almost ten years of customer service experience in different industries. She has been a resident of Easton for over 30 years and lives with her husband Andy, and two dogs, Tipper and Samantha. Karen is a skilled vegetable gardener and last year managed to reach a personal milestone and donate over 1,000 lbs of food to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. She enjoys cooking and is an enthusiastic hockey fan; having held season tickets for the Yale Men’s Hockey Team for the last 12 years.
